Career Fair @ Suntec City
it was actually in my ventures programme planned by my year 2 senior LohJunKai. attending this fair is actually part of our venture standard, so he bo bian got to plan this outing and we bo bian have to go. but nvm, we still enjoyed getting the freebies and such. i seriously dont see any young people attending this fair. We are the youngest there.
Basically there are some problems going on among the ventures. before the outing we actually sat down and have some 'trashing out' session. our effort is always not noted but our bad points are always hanging by their mouths. if there is no drive to move on during normal saturday meetings, what abt small lil praises? The success of venture recruitment drive by yr1 is not even mention, and our effort is perhaps not seen too. I really got lost of what is venturing. before i officially joined, my motive of joining is so clear but once my journey of venturing starts, i lost myself there. I do not used to be a scout, but what the seniors expect from us is more than what i've learnt and more than wad i could do.I understand that we have a lot of man power but it might not be fair to someone so raw to venturing, who knws nuts abt it. Most of the year one boys are skillful so the seniors dont teach much but we jus do to their high expectation so the rest of us are jus left behind struggling and blindly following like some lost bird.
and this lost bird is still as lost now. i can tell you with my standard now, its so embarrassing to even tell the new recruits that i am one yr more advance than them. they might laugh their ass off.
